Welcome to IHHM family support group page. We are a Christian Ministry reaching out not only to those with addictions or life controlling issues, but also to their families. This support page is for the families of those struggling.

IHHM cares about families that are struggling with the fact that they love someone in addiction or other life issue, and cannot do a thing to help them. Sometimes when we love someone struggling, we want to jump in there and tell them what they need to do to get out of their mess, but they won't listen. We might even take all they are doing personal. You might think well they are angry, rude, steal from me, on and on and on. I could go on but I don’t think I need to, as I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about.

IHHM Family Support has a support group we call the “Freedom Class” This is a class where we meet weekly and talk about the things that are going on in our lives. The struggles we are facing and how to cope with these issues. Sometimes we can feel so alone when we are going through this. It helps to have others to talk to that understand. No one understands like someone struggling with the same thing. What’s even more comforting is to hear someone with a positive testimony.

Loving someone with life controlling issues can cause us to feel out of control ourselves, seeing your loved one suffering can be overwhelming for sure. You might even feel like you have prayed so much you begin to think, “God can You even hear me anymore”? It can sometimes get to the point to where we can fall into addiction ourselves because of hopelessness. Well, great news, the IHHM Freedom Class offers pastoral teaching and advice, advice from others that have survived this struggle, prayer for your loved one and yourself, and support.

All things are not hopeless. Through Jesus Christ all things are possible. He even says to cast all our care on Him because He cares for us.

There is something healing about talking to other believers that have been through or are going through the same thing you are.

Exodus 17:11 Moses was in a battle and as long as he held his arms up to the Lord, they were winning the battle, but his arms grew tired, so God had Aaron and Hur stand on each side and help him hold his arms up. He won the battle but only because he had 2 alongside to help him hold his arms up. That is what the “Freedom Class” is. People that will hold your arms up to the Lord until you win the battle. God puts people in your life to help you. You’re not on an island alone.

IHHM will also help you deal with issues you may be struggling with due to your past or the hurt brought on by others or self. If you would be interested in joining one of these classes, please contact us and let’s get you set up.

Right now, we will be holding classes via zoom. We also offer one on one ministry and support.

Please keep one thing in mind, you are not alone, others are struggling with the same issues, and having others pray and lift you up can mean life or death to some. Never give up, Jesus can change things in an instant!
