There is only one way to the Father and that is through the Son. Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ.

God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

What does that mean? It means that God loves us no matter what we have done or how far away we are from Him, He will never give up on us. Has anyone ever given up on you? Have you given up on someone else? The thing is God knew we were always going to come up short when it comes to being perfect. He knew we could never be perfect. So go ahead and stop trying. That is why He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to pay for our sins. That's right, Jesus has already paid for your sins and mine. Why would we want to pay for them again? It is hard to accept the fact we are forgiven, cleansed, and given another chance. As a matter of fact, Jesus will give us chance after chance. We can have do-overs from now till Jesus comes. 

There are some things we have to do to live in this freedom.

We will have to ask Jesus into our hearts and repent of our sins and have a true desire to change. Are you ready for change? You have heard the old saying that "As long as we keep doing the same thing, we will keep getting what we've gotten." It's time to make a change.

Not just a change in our lifestyle but also in our heart. You have to want to be the best person you can be. Be willing to do whatever you have to to make that happen. It's not overnight and it is hard work but it is so worth it. Chances you will fail several times. But the good news is, Jesus understands, He knows we will fail now and then. He is not looking for perfect people, He is looking for people that are trying, He's looking at your heart. 

Would you like to ask Jesus to come live in your heart? You can, just say this prayer and see what happens in your life. (Pray this Prayer Out Loud if Possible).

 

  Jesus, I confess I am a sinner and that there is no good in me. I ask You to forgive me now and change me into a new person. I desire to live for You and to know You better. I give myself to You right now Lord. I know that You, a man of no sin, died for my sins. Thank You Jesus. You are the missing link in my life. Fill me up Lord so that I may know You better. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen
