Well the devil is alive and well today. How do I know that you might ask? Look around, it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure that out. Our enemy the devil roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour according to 1 Peter 5:8. Does the world seem a little out of sorts to you or is it just me? I am telling you, according to the word in Ephesians 6:10-12 we are told we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers of darkness. Right now, hate is overtaking the world. People hating people. It’s really not about race, it’s about the devil sewing seed that we the people will take that seed and turn on each other and destroy ourselves from within. Have you ever watched a child that was not raised with authority? They have no boundaries and are wild. Can hardly wait to see what happens when the authority is taken out of this country. 

That being said, how about you? How are you doing. You know one of the most successful plans of the enemy is to divide and conquer. To isolate the people, get them alone and plant discord, hopelessness, and fear in their minds. The enemy is building anxiety and fear in people’s minds like never before. That has happened through this pandemic. Seems like a plan, separate the people, put fear on them, and then offend them all. Fix it to where they hate one another.

You see we all have one thing in common and that is the fact that God so loved the world that He gave His only son to die for us, no matter what color, what job we do or who we are. We have that in common whether you believe in God or not, it’s truth and if we can all get into an attitude of agreement that no matter what happens it’s good verses evil, not black verses white or law breakers verses police, Come on people we are not stupid.

The word says

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

It also says

 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

We are so full of hate that we can’t see the world is changing and it is not in a good way. The word tells us to love one another, and the way I read this is if we put it all together, is stop being offended about everything, start respecting those in authority, and each other! No matter what or who they are. Change you attitude. Put ourselves last instead of WE WANT THIS, WE WANT THIS, WE WANT THIS!

Are you walking in fear? Anxiety or depression? I know all this can take a toll on you. Emotions are running high and even families are feeling separated. Try this, write down all that is bothering you. Everything that is on your mind and making you feel hopeless. Then look up to heaven, lift your paper up with both hands like you are giving it to Jesus, and ask Jesus to take it all. He will if you let Him. Give it to Him.

The word says;

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Once you give it all to Him, ask Him to renew your mind. Replace your normal way of thinking with the word of God. Repent from anything you have done that would offend Him, and then pray. Pray for our President, I didn’t ask if you like him or not, I asked you to pray for him.

The word says;

 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—  second, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all Godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Instead of WE WANT THIS, WE WANT THIS let’s change it to, JESUS WANTS THIS, JESUS WANTS THIS, JESUS WANTS THIS!

Pray for peace that surpasses all understanding, for each person to see the other with love as Jesus sees us, Pray for our families, our country, our community, for good to triumph over evil, pray for revival! Just pray and pray till we see things changing. Pray for healing and that Covid will die. Pray for those in addiction to be set free. Pray for your pastors and teachers. Pray that our children are safe from all harm. Pray the enemy is defeated and we are victorious through Christ Jesus who strengthens us.

If you are reading this but you are not a believer, pray for Jesus to come live in your heart. Ask Him to forgive all your sins and heal all your diseases

Let’s put our hope and faith in Jesus Christ. If we do this, He will forgive us our sins and heal our land.
